Getting started
Everything you need to do on your first day with Kozelot Vet.
1. Create your clinic
After registering, you'll be guided to the clinic setup page. Fill in your clinic name, country, city, and address. These details appear on patient records and print views.
Name and location
Enter your clinic name and address. These are required.
Ward slots (optional but recommended)
Enter the number of physical cages or kennels you have. This activates the Ward module. You can change this later in Clinic Settings.
Save
Click "Create clinic". You'll be taken to the dashboard automatically.
2. Complete the setup checklist
After setup, your dashboard shows a "Getting started" checklist. Work through it to configure your clinic for daily use:
- Add services to your fee catalog, for example Consultation or Surgery.
- Set ward slot count and types in Clinic Settings.
- Create your first owner (pet owner or client).
- Explore the Ward board.
- Invite a colleague from Settings -> Staff.
The checklist disappears once all items are complete or you dismiss it.
3. Your dashboard
The dashboard is your daily command center:
- Today's appointments, color-coded by type.
- Discharge watchlist for hospitalized patients due for discharge.
- Quick actions such as New appointment, Create owner, Admit patient, and Add exam.
- Upcoming reminders for vaccine and deworming due dates.
4. Platform tour
When you log in for the first time, a short guided tour highlights the sidebar navigation, the clinic switcher, quick actions, and settings. You can skip it at any time.
